The CDMP is a post-graduate certification for individuals with the appropriate work experience in the Data Management industry. To become a CDMP you need to pass 3 exams, of which IS Core and DM Core are mandatory, sufficient education and pratical experience in Data Management To find out if you are ready to become certified, simply answer the following questions:
If you have answered yes, but you're unsure if you could sit the exams and pass then join us on a "CDMP Bootcamp". Alternatively you may want to consider the self-study option. DAMA SA can provide you with sample tests and course notes to help you. If you don't have enough experience; haven't seen the DMBoK; do not have an IS background, then try doing the CDMP in 18 months. When you take the exams, you will be required to provide a CV giving your relevant education AND experience. Your CV and ICCP regisration form, together with your exam results (signed by both Proctor and Student) will be sent to the ICCP. DAMA I and the ICCP are the final arbiters of your eligibility to become a CDMP. If you score at least 50% in all the exams, have the appropriate experience AND education, you qualify for a practitioner level. You need to get least 70% in all your exams, along with the appropriate experience AND eductaion to qualify as a master.
